Energenie Mi|Home Smart Thermostat

The Energenie smart thermostat is a great addition to your smart home. They are battery powered so no messing about getting power to your thermostats. With a couple of screws to hold the back plate in place and a clip of two wires in into the terminals to control the switch on the boiler and your in business. I needed 2 of these for my smart home. One for upstairs and one for downstairs are the house was split into 2 zones. I was able to pick up 2 of these for the same price of one unit from the leading brands. Really good value for money.
They integrate seamlessly into my smart home too. Once paired to the MiHome app they are controllable through the app and with a couple of taps they were setup in alexa. You can then ask her to set the temperature on each of the thermostats by name and even ask what the temperature is on either of them. As Energenie products also link into IFTTT you can also do things like turn on fans when the thermostat reaches a certain temperature. Handy for this really hot summer.
These also work with geo fencing through the MiHome app. This can automatically adjust the thermostats to a set temperature when you are within a given distance. Perfect for when you are on your way home from work in winter and want a nice warm house to come home to.
All in all, I think these are great for the money and do exactly what they need to.
