Energenie Smart Radiator Valves

The Energenie Smart radiator valves are an excellent extension to smart thermostats.
I've been using then for the past 9 months and I've found them to be very useful and reliable. They allow you to set the temperature of the room that they are in. So no more guessing what the temperature will be with the little numbers on the side of the radiator valves. From the Energenie mihome app you can set the desired temperature of the room and then walk away. The valve will adjust automatically to be open or closed to heat or cool the room.they are also really easy to fit to your radiators. They come with a few adapters for different valve types but for mine it was just a case of unscrewing the old valve adjuster and screwing on these new ones. Less than a 5 minute install time.

They also work with the Energenie API so you are able to set the temperature through an API call, through Alexa or IFTTT. Giving you the ultimate flexibility to be able to control your heating however you want.
